Aragão: Lula holds the key to the way out of the crisis.

In his debut on Nocaute, Minister Eugênio Aragão, Deputy Attorney General of the Republic, analyzes the crisis the country is experiencing, demands consistency from the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office and the Supreme Court justices in the case of Moreira Franco's appointment to Temer's cabinet, and concludes: only Lula will be able to prevent the coup plotters from hindering his presidential candidacy in 2018.

Check out some excerpts:

"The scenario is becoming clearer for the government, or what is usually called the government. We see this week President Temer, or so-called President, rebuilding part of his government by creating new ministries. Therefore, contradicting everything he criticized in President Dilma. Currently, he only has three fewer ministries than President Dilma had. It's practically nothing in terms of resources saved by the government."

Now let's look at the characters in this reshuffle. It's very curious that he conferred upon the politician, Mr. Moreira Franco, the title of minister. Why do I say this? Because when Lula was called by Dilma to assume the leadership of the Civil House, under investigation by Sérgio Moro, or at least there were rumors of it, the outcry immediately spread through the media and spared neither the institutions. The Attorney General of the Republic, Rodrigo Janot, quickly initiated an investigation to investigate Dilma and Lula for obstruction of justice. While today the same thing is happening, Mr. Moreira Franco is now having to answer for the facts that came to light through the Odebrecht plea bargain, being involved in shady transactions, and now being made Minister to shield himself. Where is the action of the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office in this? Where is the action of the press, the scandal? Where are the pot-bangers who were there, extremely irritated with Dilma and Lula? In other words, we see that this country is currently unable to maintain any kind of consistency that would guarantee predictability in the legal system. What applies to one country doesn't apply to another.

I return to the beginning of what I said today: the only way out of this hole will be through intelligent management by President Lula. He holds the key to our exit from the crisis, and it is he who must find a way to prevent the coup plotters from hindering democracy from resuming its course in 2018 with his candidacy consecrated at the polls.
