According to columnist Ancelmo Gois, the Cessna jet that crashed in Santos with presidential candidate Eduardo Campos (PSB) on board had expired insurance; the aircraft was sold three months ago for US$7 million to a businessman from Alagoas – who allegedly lent it to the campaign; it is still registered in the name of the Andrade group, from Ribeirão Preto.

The aircraft is registered in the name of the Andrade group, from Ribeirão Preto (313 km from São Paulo), but was sold about three months ago for US$7 million to a businessman from Alagoas - who reportedly loaned it to the campaign, with approximately 350 flight hours on it.
The leader of the PSB party in the Legislative Assembly of Paraná, state deputy Wilson Quinteiro, recalls that the private jet had already experienced a malfunction on July 17th.
