ABI condemns threat against DCM presenter.
"I'm going to kill you, you son of a bitch. Kill your family. I'm going to the favela, I'm going to look for you, rape you," says an audio message forwarded to Maria Fernanda Passos.
247 - The Brazilian Press Association (ABI) spoke out on Wednesday (14) about the attacks received by DCMTV presenter Maria Fernanda Passos via Instagram.
"I'm going to kill you, you son of a bitch. Kill your family. I'm going to the favela, I'm going to look for you. You little slut, I'm going to eat your ass, rape you," says the audio message sent from Júlio Bordieri's profile.

In the early hours of this Wednesday (14), journalist and presenter of DCMTV, Maria Fernanda Passos, received an audio message via Instagram direct message with death and rape threats.
The message came from a profile identified as Júlio Bordieri. According to his social media accounts, he studied at universities such as Unifae, in São João da Boa Vista, São Paulo, and Estácio de Sá, in Cabo Frio, Rio de Janeiro.
He is reportedly living in Porto, Portugal. He has deleted his social media accounts.
He continues: “I’m going to kill you, you son of a bitch. Kill your family. I’m going to the favela, I’m going to look for you. You little slut, I’m going to eat your ass, rape you.”
Maria Fernanda has been systematically attacked on social media since she made comments about Bolsonaro's September 7th protests, but this was her first rape and death threat.
The journalist filed a police report, and the case is in the hands of DCM's lawyer, Francisco Ramos. "I will not be intimidated," he affirms. "I'm not afraid of a fascist's ugly face."
ABI condemns this latest attack on a journalist, expresses its solidarity with Maria Fernanda, and demands the severe punishment of the aggressor.
