26 fake profiles boosted the hashtag #GoBolsonaroMundial, in support of Bolsonaro.
A survey conducted using the Bot Sentinel tool shows that the hashtag used by Bolsonaro supporters to counter the worldwide protest against Bolsonaro placed the country at the top of the global list of tweets made by fake profiles and bots in the last 24 hours.
Forum Magazine - With 13 different alerts, the Bot SentinelA profile specializing in identifying fake accounts or accounts operated by bots on the internet, identified that, in the last 24 hours, the hashtag #GoBolsonaroMundial was boosted by 26 posts made by fake accounts.
The volume of posts made by robots – so-called bots – or accounts that do not belong to a specific person, indicating that they are fake, was so large that the hashtag #GoBolsonaroMundial leads the global list of mentions made by fake profiles on Bot Sentinel.
In addition to this, the hashtags #Bolsonaro2022 and #FechadoComBolsonaroAté2026, according to Bot Sentinel, were also boosted by posts from fake profiles, totaling 1679 posts from fake accounts.
