World Robotics Conference begins in Beijing with record industry participation.

The event brings together more than 200 global companies and showcases 100 new product launches, highlighting China's advancements in humanoid robots.

247 - The World Robotics Conference 2025 will open on August 8th in Yizhuang, Beijing, with the largest attendance in its history. According to... newspaper Global TimesAccording to the announcement made by the China Institute of Electronics (CIE), the event will bring together more than 200 leading global companies and showcase 1.500 products, consolidating China's leading role in the global race for robotics and artificial intelligence.

Among the confirmed names are giants such as ABB, KUKA, Festo, Estun, Unitree Robotics, Galbot, and CITIC Heavy Industries, representing a 25% growth compared to last year. The CIE also reported that more than 100 new products will debut, double the number of launches in 2024, confirming the conference as a showcase for innovation.

The international scope of the event is also record-breaking. Twenty-eight foreign organizations support the conference, which will have 80 international guests, including representatives from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, in addition to 300 delegations from countries such as Singapore, Nepal, Cameroon, and ASEAN members, who will present cooperation plans in robotics applications.

The highlight of this edition will be the advancement of humanoid robots. Fifty renowned manufacturers will present their solutions in full-body robots, an unprecedented number at industry fairs. Interest in this technology is growing at an accelerated pace: China already accounts for 84,7% of global deliveries of commercial service robots and registered two-thirds of the world's robotics patents in 2024, according to the CIE.

Industry figures confirm Chinese leadership. Sales of industrial robots jumped from 70 units in 2015 to 302 in 2024, securing the country's top global ranking for 12 consecutive years. Production of service robots reached 10,52 million units in 2024, a 34,3% increase compared to the previous year, while industrial robots reached 556 units in 2023.

With a rapidly expanding industry, the conference in Beijing not only reinforces China's leading role, but also signals a new phase of international technological cooperation, marked by the integration of humanoids and intelligent solutions into global production chains.
