'I voted for Bolsonaro, but his statements border on irresponsibility,' says dentist.

"As a son who lost his father to the virus, I fear the consequences of the things the president says. Perhaps he says this because he hasn't lost anyone very close to him to the virus," says Guilherme Rolim, who voted for Bolsonaro in the second round.

247 - A supporter of Jair Bolsonaro, dentist Guilherme Rolim, lost his father to Covid-19. He states that he does not regret voting for Bolsonaro in the second round and describes his vote as a "necessary evil" to prevent the return of the PT (Workers' Party).

However, he admits to being extremely disappointed. "The change was important, but the president is very unprepared," the dentist said in an interview with... BBC Brazil.

Guilherme's disappointment is mainly motivated by Bolsonaro's statement about the number of deaths from the coronavirus, which surpassed China's this week. "So what? I'm sorry. What do you want me to do? I'm Messiah, but I don't perform miracles," said Bolsonaro.

"Bolsonaro is an irresponsible guy. This statement borders on irresponsibility and is a disservice. The president is playing around with something very serious," says the dentist.

"As a son who lost his father to the virus, I fear the consequences of the things the president says. Perhaps he says this because he hasn't lost anyone very close to him to the virus, he hasn't felt how much pain it causes," he adds.
