A group of city councilors will travel to Brasília in the coming days to discuss the release of international loans for projects in Fortaleza, which require the approval of senators to be implemented. Ceará 247 - A group of city councilors will travel to Brasília to pressure the Minister of the Civil House, Eliseu Padilha, regarding the release of international loans for projects in the capital of Ceará, which require the approval of senators to be implemented.

"Since it's international funding, the Federal Government only fulfills the role of signing the contract, of mediating the formality of the document, but inexplicably these funds have been in this process at the Federal Government, in the Civil House, for months, which has to send it to the Senate for approval. We need this resource, the city needs investment, and it's not right, if there's no technical error, no illegality, not to release the funding," explained the president of the Municipal Chamber, Salmito Filho (PDT).

According to him, the loans total more than R$ 3,4 billion and will be used for the construction of new Early Childhood Education Centers and full-time schools, as well as new Urban Centers for Culture and Arts (Cuca's); in health, the construction of new Polyclinics, expansion of the basic sanitation and drainage network, expansion of BRTs, among other projects.
