"The Legislative Assembly is a space for the people. Therefore, it is only fair to address the demands of the population even during Carnival," says the president of the municipal parliament, councilman Paulo Câmara (PSDB); in the Chamber's VIP area, people can report any type of issue related to child exploitation, violence against women, or any type of prejudice, whether racial or sexual.

With the motto 'The Chamber is the people's house', the Legislative Branch of Salvador inaugurated this Saturday the official VIP box of the House, in the Osmar circuit (Campo Grande). The proposal is to serve as an extension space of the Legislative House, but within the Carnival, as happens every year.
In the Chamber's VIP box, the public can report any type of issue related to child exploitation, violence against women, or any type of prejudice, whether racial or sexual.
The idea is to bring the city councilors even closer to the people of Salvador, in accordance with the intention of the president of the House, councilor Paulo Câmara (PSDB), to encourage popular participation in this 17th Legislature.
