Currently, BDMG partners with business entities and credit cooperatives in approximately 400 of the 853 municipalities in Minas Gerais. According to Veiga, the basic guidelines of his government program aim to boost the Minas Gerais economy through small and micro-entrepreneurs.
"Our potential in the mining and agribusiness sectors is already well-known, but we need to diversify production, create new development mechanisms that can generate more jobs, and make our economy more independent," he stated.
Regarding his proposals, the PSDB candidate posted a promise on Facebook: to continue the education programs implemented in Minas Gerais over the past 12 years. "The Full-Time School Program is helping our children better prepare for the future and protect themselves from street violence, while also reinforcing their learning," he said.
