Valadares says there are deputies who only "serve the interests of the Amorim family."
"All of Sergipe hopes that the sterile discussions and attacks will give way to the approval of important projects that are on the agenda," the senator retorted, in response to criticism from opposition state deputies; during Wednesday's plenary session, for more than an hour, the deputies, motivated by a speech by Maria Mendonça (PSB), attacked the socialist senator.
Valter Lima, from Sergipe 247 – Senator Antônio Carlos Valadares (PSB) responded, early Wednesday evening (17), to criticisms made against him by most of the opposition bench to the Government in the Legislative Assembly. During Wednesday’s plenary session, for more than an hour, state deputies, motivated by a speech by Maria Mendonça (PSB), attacked the socialist senator. “Sad” and “crazy” were some of the expressions used to refer to him.
On Twitter, Valadares responded: “I want to make it very clear that it is preferable to have no parliamentarians in the Legislative Assembly of Sergipe (Alese) than to have them, and for them to only serve the interests of the Amorim family on a daily basis.” He added: “All of Sergipe expects that the sterile discussions and attacks will give way to the approval of important projects that are on the agenda.” By “important projects” he means Proinveste, which has been in the Legislative Assembly for more than two weeks.
