UFC offers 6.288 places in Sisu 2017

The Ministry of Education (MEC) released, this Wednesday (17), the schedule for the Unified Selection System (Sisu) 2017. Registrations will be open from January 24 to 27. In this edition, the Federal University of Ceará will offer 6.288 places in 110 on-campus undergraduate courses, on the campuses of Fortaleza, Sobral, Quixadá, Russas and Crateús. The scores for the National High School Examination (ENEM) 2016 were also released and can now be accessed.

Registration must be done on the Sisu/MEC website. Students who participated in the 2016 ENEM exam, have completed high school, and did not receive a zero on the essay portion will be eligible to apply. Each candidate may choose up to two courses.

The notice, with more details about Sisu 2017, should be published by the MEC this Thursday (19), when the consultation of the institutions' databases will also be opened, with the courses and vacancies available.

UFC and SISU – SISU is the MEC's ​​computerized system through which public higher education institutions offer places to students based on their ENEM scores.

UFC joined SISU in 2010, with enrollment in 2011, already offering 100% of its undergraduate places in on-campus programs. Since 2012, UFC has stood out among the most sought-after institutions in the country within the system. In the previous edition, the University received more than 160 applications, according to the final SISU 2016 report prepared by the MEC (Ministry of Education).
