Tucanos take office in the government of Pernambuco.
In total, six new secretaries took office in a ceremony this Friday morning, the 3rd; the changes comply with the administrative reform and were made by Governor Eduardo Campos in consensus with his vice-governor, João Lyra, who will assume the governorship in April when Campos leaves office to dedicate himself to the presidential campaign; PSDB, the newest ally of PSB, gained the Secretariat of Labor and the presidency of Detran (the state traffic department).
PE247 Six new secretaries were sworn in to the Pernambuco government on the morning of Friday the 3rd. The ceremony was held in the event hall of the provisional headquarters of the State Government, at the Pernambuco Convention Center.
With the reform, the PSDB party of Senator Aécio Neves (MG) becomes an official ally of the PSB party of Eduardo Campos, a pre-candidate for the presidency of the Republic. formalized the alliance this Thursday, after many conversations with federal deputy Sérgio Guerra (PE), president of the PSDB party in the state.
The changes comply with the administrative reform submitted by the Executive Branch to the Legislative Assembly of Pernambuco last year and were discussed between Campos and his deputy, João Lyra (PSB), who will assume the government in April, when the governor leaves office to run for elections next October.
