The judge also ordered the inclusion of the criminal review process in the first session, scheduled for August 10th, according to T1 Notícias. If the criminal review is denied, the favorable injunction granted by the Supreme Court of Justice (STJ), which suspended the effects of the sentence already being executed, in which Raul was convicted of an environmental crime, will be overturned.
The practical effect of the injunction granted by the Superior Court of Justice (STJ) is to allow the ineligibility resulting from the conviction to also be suspended, thus permitting the registration of his candidacy for mayor of the capital.
