Ceará 247 - The Regional Electoral Court of Ceará has scheduled a meeting with political parties for tomorrow (11) to discuss the rules for electoral campaigning for 2018.
The meeting will be coordinated by Judge Adriana da Cruz Dantas of the 95th Electoral Zone, starting at 9:00 AM, in the auditorium of the Péricles Ribeiro Forum (Avenida Almirante Barroso, 601 - Praia de Iracema).
Also expected to be present are the vice-president and regional electoral inspector, Judge Haroldo Correia de Oliveira Máximo, as well as electoral judges, court clerks, and advisors.
For 2018, some changes to the legislation were approved, particularly those dealing with online advertising. Candidates and parties are still prohibited from paying for advertising on third-party websites (such as news portals, for example), but the new rules allow posts on social networks and search engines to be boosted (paid for).
