Ceará 247 - Drivers and conductors paralyzed activities at the Papicu Terminal on the morning of this Wednesday (24). The mobilization began around 9 am and is expected to last until 11 am. The Union of Road Transport Workers in the State of Ceará (Sintro) is demanding a 13% increase in salaries, in addition to benefits such as basic food baskets worth R$ 130 and a food voucher of R$ 13.
At the last meeting of the category, held on June 16th, the Union of Passenger Transport Companies of the State of Ceará (Sindiônibus) offered an 8,4% readjustment, which was not accepted by the union. Sintro approved a state of strike, in an assembly held at the institution's headquarters on Saturday, June 13th.
