Terminals in Pernambuco are ready for São João (Saint John's Day).

Anyone arriving in Pernambuco by plane will find, right at the arrivals connector, two panels alluding to the São João festivities, mainly held in the interior of the state; the location received approximately 6,6 pennants with the visual identity created for the period, in addition to a photo booth; at the Integrated Passenger Terminal (TIP), the pillars were decorated with stickers featuring the São João campaign.

247 - Tourists who come to enjoy the São João festivities in Pernambuco won't need to travel to the major festival centers to get into the festive spirit. This is because the State Secretariat of Tourism, Sports and Leisure, through Empetur, has installed special decorations to welcome visitors arriving daily through the state's two main entry points: Guararapes International Airport and the Integrated Passenger Terminal (TIP).

Anyone arriving in Pernambuco by plane will find, right at the arrival terminal, two panels alluding to the São João festivities, mainly held in the interior of the state. The area has been decorated with approximately 6.600 pennants featuring the visual identity created for the period. The escalator landing area is also entirely covered with welcome banners.

In order to promote interactivity with visitors, a photo booth has been installed, where every time someone takes a picture or makes a video, the jingle of the São João de Pernambuco festival will start playing. There will also be a totem at the airport where brochures with information about the June festivities and services will be available.

At the Integrated Passenger Terminal (TIP), the pillars were decorated with stickers promoting the São João festivities. Small flags were placed in the arrival area. A panel and a photo booth similar to those at the airport are also available for tourists arriving by road.

"Our goal is to warmly welcome all tourists who arrive to enjoy São João. The decorations at the state's entry points will get everyone in the mood for the most popular festival in the Northeast. With this, we want to establish a relationship between Pernambuco and tourists, so that they will always return and recommend it to friends and family," commented the Secretary of Tourism, Sports and Leisure of Pernambuco, Felipe Carreras.

In addition to the airport and the TIP (Integrated Passenger Terminal), inland cities like Gravatá and Caruaru received special decorations for the June festivities. Gravatá received an entrance gate to Rua dos Móveis (Furniture Street) with images from the Pernambuco government's campaign for the June period, as well as 10 small flags and an interactive photo booth. Caruaru will also receive interactive photo booths.
