Temer launches Skaf's candidacy for governor of São Paulo.

"We continue our national alliance with the PT. In the states, when alliances are necessary, they should be made with the PT. But ideally, we should have our own candidates," said the Vice-President of the Republic at a PMDB plenary session in the city of Tatuí, São Paulo; both he and Paulo Skaf defended unity within the party.

247 - The Vice President of the Republic, Michel Temer (PMDB), confirmed, this Saturday (19), the name of businessman Paulo Skaf as the party's candidate for the government of São Paulo, in a plenary session held in the city of Tatuí, São Paulo.

"The PMDB in the past was very united; at no point did we see any irresponsible leadership working for a candidate other than the party's own. The PMDB needs to be like that now. We continue our national alliance with the PT. In the states, when alliances are necessary, they should be made with the PT. But ideally, we should have our own candidates," said Temer. Skaf also defended unity within the party. "We need to win the election, united," he said.
