The Workers' Party (PT) has already decided on the candidacy of former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, with former São Paulo mayor Fernando Haddad as his running mate. The Communist Party of Brazil (PCdoB), of Rio Grande do Sul state representative Manuela D'Ávila, is part of the coalition, and if Lula's candidacy is challenged by the Electoral Court, the parliamentarian will be Haddad's running mate. The Pros and PCO parties are also part of the ticket.
Former São Paulo governor Geraldo Alckmin has the support of PP, PR, PTB, PPS, DEM, PRB, Solidariedade, and PSD. The PSDB candidate secured the most television airtime – 5 minutes and 32 seconds.
Former minister Ciro Gomes (PDT) has Senator Kátia Abreu (PDT-TO) as his running mate.
Presidential candidate Guilherme Boulos (Psol) has as his running mate the indigenous activist Sônia Guajajara, from the same party.
Senator Roberto Requião (MDB-PR), mentioned by Tarso Genro, is one of the leading voices in national politics opposed to the Michel Temer government and the imprisonment of former president Lula.
