(Reuters)- Square, the payments technology company founded by Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, has obtained a license to offer New York residents a service for buying and selling bitcoins through its app, the company said on Monday.
The license makes Square the ninth company to obtain the so-called "bitlicense" issued by the New York Department of Financial Services.
