In total, eight of the victims are children, in addition to a teacher and the security guard, the perpetrator of the crime, who set fire to the people and to his own body. Another 41 people were injured.
Two more children died on Friday afternoon as a result of their burns.
There are still 12 seriously ill patients hospitalized at Hospital João XXIII in Belo Horizonte, a leading burn center in the state.
