Skaf denies receiving undeclared campaign contributions from Odebrecht.

The president of Fiesp (Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo), Paulo Skaf, released a statement this Saturday contesting a report in Veja magazine about Marcelo Odebrecht's testimony, which allegedly mentioned a donation of R$ 6 million in undeclared funds; Skaf affirms that he never received any unrecorded electoral donation from Odebrecht or any other company.

Regarding the news published by Veja magazine, the president of FIESP, Paulo Skaf, clarifies:

1. He did not participate in, organize, or, much less, orchestrate any dinner between then-Vice President Michel Temer and businessman Marcelo Odebrecht. The existence of this dinner was unknown to him until the publication of the article.

2. He never received any unrecorded campaign donations from Odebrecht or any other company. All donations received by his campaign are duly registered with the Electoral Court. 

3. During his campaign, he also received legal donations from companies through the national and state leadership of the PMDB party.
