Minas 247 - The Secretary of State for Economic Development, Altamir Rôso, participated this Wednesday afternoon (25), in Brasília, in the meeting hosted by the national Sebrae to discuss advances in legislation regarding the Simples Nacional and the integration process for opening and closing companies throughout the country.

The meeting was opened by the Minister of State-Chief of the Secretariat for Micro and Small Enterprises of the Presidency of the Republic, Guilherme Afif Domingos. The minister drew attention to the need to improve the Simples Nacional law based on the demands coming from each state, through forums such as Fopemimpe. For Afif, these forums are important tools for promoting and creating public policies for micro and small enterprises in Brazil. "We are on the right track and the forums are fundamental as agents that bring together proposals for growth for micro and small enterprises throughout the country," he stated.

According to Secretary Altamir Rôso, the pursuit of improvements for micro and small enterprises (MSEs) and individual micro-entrepreneurs (MEIs) through simplification will be a step forward for the Brazilian economy. "It will function as an important social factor, generating income and increasing entrepreneurial capacity in Brazil," he emphasized.

The event brought together directors of the Permanent Forums from different Brazilian states, including São Paulo, Amazonas and Alagoas. This Thursday (26), new measures to improve the law in Brazil will be launched in Brasília, through the "Bem mais simples Brasil" program.
