Severiano is the new superintendent of STRE-BA.

Former congressman Severiano Alves has been nominated by the national leadership of the PDT party to head the Regional Secretariat of Labor and Employment of Bahia (STRE-BA); he will manage 10 regional offices and 19 agencies distributed throughout the municipalities of Bahia. "I fought in Congress to approve a bill I authored that established a minimum wage for teachers throughout Brazil. I will work for the applicability and guarantee of labor rights for all categories. It's the expansion of my cause for education," says the PDT member.

Bahia 247 - Chosen by the Minister of Labor, Manoel Dias, after consultation with the national leadership of the party by the president of the PDT, Carlos Lupi, former federal deputy Severiano Alves is the new superintendent of the Regional Secretariat of Labor and Employment of Bahia (STRE-BA).

He will manage 10 regional offices and 19 branches distributed throughout the municipalities of Bahia.

"It is an honor to embrace this challenge with which I strongly identify, as I fought in Congress to approve a bill of my own authorship that established the minimum wage for teachers throughout Brazil. I will work for the applicability and guarantee of labor rights for all categories. It is the expansion of my cause for education," says the PDT member.
