He is the most rejected among all candidates, with 22,1% stating that they would not vote for Caiado under any circumstances.
The index shows an increase in the Democrat's disapproval rating. In the previous round, the senator had a 20,8% disapproval rating, meaning the number of disapproval ratings has grown by 1,3%. This survey is the first conducted by the institute after the party conventions. The research was carried out between August 6th and 10th and surveyed 801 voters.
Stagnant Caiado
The third round of the Serpes/O Popular survey, conducted last week by the institute and released this Sunday (August 12) by the newspaper, shows Senator Ronaldo Caiado (DEM) remaining stagnant in the voting intentions of Goiás residents.
In the first round of the survey, in April, Caiado appeared with 39,7%, fell in the second round, released in June, and remains without growth, at 39,8%. The survey is the first conducted by the institute after the holding of the party conventions.
The survey was conducted between August 6th and 10th and polled 801 voters. 19,4% are still undecided and 16,6% responded that they will either spoil their ballot or not vote. In the spontaneous poll, 65% of voters stated that they have not yet decided who they will vote for.
Caiado falls in the North and Southwest of Goiás
Senator Ronaldo Caiado (DEM) dropped 11,2% in the voting intention poll in northern Goiás, according to the third round of the Serpes/O Popular survey released this Sunday (August 12). Caiado had 43,1% and plummeted to 31,9% in the region.
Caiado also experienced a drop in the Southwest region, falling from 41,2% to 38,6%. This region is considered a stronghold of votes for the senator from the Democratic Party.
