The second edition of Startup Weekend Women takes place in October.

Between October 6th and 8th, in Santa Catarina, the second edition of Startup Weekend Women will take place, a weekend to encourage female entrepreneurs, designers, and software developers to share ideas, form teams, and create startups; the event begins on Friday night with an open stage for sharing ideas and forming teams; during Saturday and Sunday, the teams will work on a business model and a minimum viable product using methodologies and tools such as Lean Startup, Business Model Generation, and Customer Development.

StartSe Between October 6th and 8th, in Santa Catarina, the second edition of Startup Weekend Women will take place, a weekend designed to encourage female entrepreneurs, designers, and software developers to share ideas, form teams, and create startups.

The event begins Friday evening with an open stage for brainstorming and team formation. Throughout Saturday and Sunday, teams work towards developing a business model and a minimum viable product using methodologies and tools such as Lean Startup, Business Model Generation, and Customer Development.

A team of mentors and entrepreneurs will be available to participants to help create innovative projects. Among them is Tania Gomes, founder of... 33e34.

Organized by TechStars, a global network of leaders and entrepreneurs focused on empowering individuals, teams, and communities, Startup Weekend has already helped create more than 8 projects in approximately 700 cities around the world. The Florianópolis edition is sponsored by Sebrae/SC, the Government of the State of Santa Catarina, Unisul, Pipz Automation, Sofplan, Scaliot, Darwin Starter, Foresee, Pague Veloz, and StartSe.
