Government secretaries will debate the 2015 budget at the Legislative Assembly of Minas Gerais.
On March 12th, the president of the Financial and Budgetary Oversight Committee (FFO), state deputy Tiago Ulisses (PV), received an assessment from Governor Fernando Pimentel (PT) in which the state government, under its new administration, contests the accounts of the governments of Antônio Anastasia (PSDB) and Alberto Pinto Coelho (PP), stating that the State Budget for 2015 shows a deficit of approximately R$ 6 billion, with expenses in the order of R$ 74 billion and revenues around R$ 68 billion.
Setting the Agenda for Minas Gerais - The Secretaries of State for Planning and Management, Helvécio Magalhães, and for Finance, José Afonso Bicalho, are due to appear next Monday (23) at the Legislative Assembly of Minas Gerais, to discuss, together with the Financial and Budgetary Oversight Committee (FFO), the draft law concerning the State Budget for 2015. The meeting was requested by parliamentarians, who consider it necessary to better debate the Budget, given that it was drawn up last year, when the political and economic situation of the country and the state was different.
