The Secretary General of the Brazilian Bar Association in Sergipe, Sergio Aragão, was shot on Monday night (9), when he was leaving an event at the headquarters of the Higher School of Advocacy, near Avenida Barão de Maruim, in Aracaju; he was hit in the head as soon as he got into his car; two men approached on a motorcycle and shot; but he was soon rescued and is not at risk of death; according to Hospital Primavera, where Sergio was taken, he will remain under observation for the next 24 hours.

247 - The Secretary General of the Brazilian Bar Association in Sergipe, Sergio Aragão, was shot on Monday night (9), when he was leaving an event at the headquarters of the Higher School of Advocacy, near Avenida Barão de Maruim, in Aracaju. He was hit in the head as soon as he got into his car. Two men approached on a motorcycle and shot him. But he was quickly rescued and is not at risk of death. According to Hospital Primavera, where Sergio was taken, he will remain under observation for the next 24 hours. The police are investigating whether Sérgio Aragão was the victim of a robbery or an attack.

In a statement, the OAB/SE (Brazilian Bar Association of Sergipe) informs that from the very beginning, the Military and Civil Police have provided all the necessary assistance in this case and have already begun investigations to determine responsibility and the reasons behind the incident.

According to the president of the Order, Carlos Augusto Monteiro, in the early hours of Tuesday morning (10) there will be a meeting of the OAB/SE board with the Secretary of Public Security, Mendonça Prado.
