Iris's secretary denounces vote-buying in the healthcare sector.

In an interview, the metropolitan president of the MDB spoke about the Special Commission of Inquiry (CEI) on health and denounced the so-called "vote industry".

When questioned about the report by councilman Elias Vaz (PSB), Carlos Júnior stated that the "vote-buying industry" in the municipal health department comes from previous administrations. "I am the president of the MDB and we had representatives who had the famous check-ins here in Goiânia," he said.

The secretary also stated that, due to the end of the "vote-buying industry" in healthcare, the secretary created a certain amount of ill will with many council members. Regarding the controversy involving the deaths of people in ICU waiting lists, Carlos Júnior affirms that Fátima Mrué has already testified to the police and "that at the end of the whole process we will see who is right. Whether it's the city hall or the council members," he concluded.
