Sebrae opens new branch in Fortaleza.
Located in José Walter, this is the first unit focused on serving entrepreneurs from a group of neighborhoods and is part of the new policy of bringing Sebrae closer to the population, proposed by president Joaquim Cartaxo (pictured). It will offer programs to promote entrepreneurship, training, lectures, consulting, and business support.
Sebrae Ceará will inaugurate a service agency in the José Walter neighborhood this Tuesday (February 10th), starting at 9 am. This is the first Sebrae unit focused on serving entrepreneurs from a group of neighborhoods and is part of the new policy of bringing the institution closer to the people.
The establishment of the agency is the result of a partnership with the José Walter Social and Community Development Association (AMPEJW), with the support of the community councils of the neighborhoods involved. Initially, the unit will serve a region encompassing the neighborhoods of José Walter, Conjunto Palmeiras, Itaperi, Mondubim, and Planalto Airton Sena. This group of neighborhoods accounts for a population of over 208 people, of which approximately 52% are women.
The event will offer entrepreneurs and anyone looking to start a business programs to promote entrepreneurship, training, lectures, consulting, and business support in the areas of management, finance, market access, and innovation, as well as programs to encourage association and the formation of business centers.
