Rio Grande do Sul 247 – The governor of Rio Grande do Sul, José Ivo Sartori (PMDB), does not guarantee the full payment of salaries, two days before the closing of the payroll for the month of March. The head of the state executive said, in a press conference at Federasul, that he will know if the payment will be made in full on the 20th, "depending on the cash flow on that day".

According to the manager, it is the workers' right to go to court to guarantee full payment. Last week, 17 unions filed lawsuits to receive full salaries. This information comes from Zero Hora.

Sartori will present to the press this Thursday (19) the real financial situation of the State, what measures will be taken and the guidelines for adjustment. According to the governor, essential areas and the 12% of the budget allocated to health will be prioritized. However, the measures to contain expenses were not made explicit.

In Brasília, Sartori met with the Minister of Social Security to discuss credits for improving the state treasury's cash flow in 2015. The amount in question was R$ 92 million, related to the reconciliation of accounts.

The governor took advantage of his trip to the federal capital to submit a request to the Ministry of Finance regarding funds from the export fund. Sartori informed that this would amount to an additional R$ 120 million for the State's treasury. "What is certain is that the State will end the year with a deficit of 5,4 billion."
