With the slight drop in temperatures in the capital of Bahia, the residents of Salvador took their coats out of the closet. Salvador recorded, in the early hours of today (15), the lowest temperature of the year, 20,2 degrees Celsius (ºC). The record was made by the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) unit in the city.

"For the average person in Salvador, it's a more pleasant temperature in the early morning, the lowest this year. Of course, we can't call it cold, because anything above 20 degrees Celsius isn't considered cold, but the people of Salvador, who experience three seasons with higher temperatures, are already feeling this change a little," said meteorologist Cláudia Valéria.

For the next few days, the forecast is for continued mild and rainy weather in the capital of Bahia and along the coast, with no changes. According to Inmet, temperatures will range between 22ºC and 27ºC, unlike some inland cities where temperatures are expected to drop further.

With the approach of the June festivities, especially São João, the meteorologist stated that temperatures tend to drop, mainly in the Recôncavo Baiano, Chapada Diamantina, and the Southwest Region, near Vitória da Conquista, where temperatures have reached 13ºC.

Throughout the state, temperatures are expected to range between 14°C and 34°C, accompanied by rain in most municipalities.
