Salvador may have a direct flight to Jamaica.

The possibility was discussed between Mayor ACM Neto (DEM) and the ambassador of the Caribbean country to Brazil, Alison Stone Roofe; if successful, the flight will depart from Salvador to Kingston (capital of Jamaica); "We are recognized worldwide for the differentiated treatment we give to our visitors. Bahia 247 - Mayor ACM Neto (DEM) received the Jamaican ambassador to Brazil, Alison Stone Roofe, this Wednesday (13) to discuss the possibility of creating a direct flight between the capital of Bahia and Kingston (capital of Jamaica). They also discussed aspects related to commercial, tourist and cultural cooperation between the two cities.

The mayor presented the Jamaican woman with a book of aerial photographs of Salvador and spoke about the beachfront redevelopment projects and the investments he intends to attract to Salvador in the coming years.

The ambassador said that Jamaica is interested in making an agreement with the Salvador City Hall to enhance hospitality. "We are recognized worldwide for the exceptional treatment we give our visitors. We want to share our experience with Bahia, especially the tourism industry," said Alison.
