Salvador is not yet on the list for biometric re-registration.
The procedure will be carried out until next December in 37 cities in the interior of the state and, according to the Regional Electoral Court (TRE-BA), there is still no defined period for the re-registration in the capital.

The biometric voter registration process, initiated in Bahia in July 2010 by the Electoral Court, will not yet be carried out in Salvador this year. The procedure will be conducted until next December in 37 cities in the interior of the state, and according to the Regional Electoral Court (TRE-BA), there is still no defined period for the registration in the capital.
This warning applies to all voters who vote in Salvador and in cities that were not included in the list of 15 electoral zones that will carry out the procedure in 2013.
Re-registration is a mandatory procedure, but only those who vote in the 37 cities listed by the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) should go to the fingerprint and photo collection points.
In these locations, those who fail to show up at the service points will have their voter registration cancelled.
