Small, crowded street parties have grown in recent years, transforming the carnival in the capital of Minas Gerais into a unique alternative for those who want to combine improvisation, joy, and creative carnival songs with the atmosphere of a small town and the conveniences of a big city.
Minas 247 - The official schedule for Belo Horizonte's street carnival, one of the fastest-growing in the country over the last five years, has finally been released. It's all driven by a lot of improvisation (in a good way), incredibly creative music, and a touch of small-town carnival in the capital.
