Bahia 247 - After registering his candidacy for governor of the state at the Regional Electoral Court (TRE), federal deputy Rui Costa, from the PT party, said that his 'participatory government program', the 'PGP 2014', "is a program that reflects our identity, that will transform participatory content into government reality, and is a commitment from the allied parties to building an increasingly democratic and transparent Bahia".
The strategy for constructing the Workers' Party program was based on three central pillars for structuring public policies: social development, economic development, and the State.
After collective consultation, the content was debated and consolidated in territorial dialogues and a survey of proposals, and will serve, according to the Workers' Party members, as support for sectoral publications with subsidies for the formulation of public policies and to guide the preparation of the 2016-2019 Multi-Year Plan, should Rui be elected.
"It includes contributions from mayors, deputy mayors, former mayors, councilors, businesspeople, federal and state deputies, senators, ministers, territorial councils, municipal consortia, the press, community leaders, union leaders, religious leaders, youth movements, representatives of organizations for people with disabilities (PwD), elderly people, LGBT people, the black movement, indigenous people, the landless, the homeless, family farmers, among others," says the candidate.
