      Rui authorizes urbanization works in Alagoinhas.

      The start of the final phase of asphalt paving in the Jardim Petrolar neighborhood, in Alagoinhas, was authorized this Friday by Governor Rui Costa, who also attended the handover of keys for a Minha Casa, Minha Vida (My House, My Life) housing complex in the city; "It is very gratifying to be here and authorize another urbanization project that will benefit the residents of Petrolar. With an investment of R$ 1.894 million, we will pave the last remaining streets," said Rui.

      Bahia 247 - The start of the final stage of asphalt paving in the Jardim Petrolar neighborhood, in Alagoinhas, was authorized this Friday (16) by Governor Rui Costa, who also attended the handover of keys for a Minha Casa, Minha Vida residential complex in the city.

      "It is very gratifying to be able to come here and authorize yet another urbanization project that will benefit the residents of Petrolar. With an investment of R$ 1.894 million, we will pave the last remaining streets," said Rui.

      The governor also spoke about his satisfaction in participating in the delivery of the housing units. "With these 1.272 new homes, the municipality of Alagoinhas now has 5 units from the 'Minha Casa, Minha Vida' program, this extraordinary program that offers housing to those who need it most. It will certainly be a very special Christmas and New Year for these families."

      Rui also visited the site of the industrial unit for the manufacture of metal and plastic beverage packaging, belonging to Indústria PKG, located in the new industrial district of Alagoinhas.

      "With the new unit, which will have an investment of R$ 110 million, the city's industrial park will advance and strengthen the regional economy, in addition to generating more jobs," highlighted Rui, who announced he would soon return to the municipality to authorize the start of construction on the Polyclinic.
