Ronaldo could return to playing.

In addition to international friendlies, the phenomenon would play some matches in the Brazilian Championship.

Cassius Oliveira_247 - Despite retiring in February of this year, Ronaldo will still play official matches for Corinthians. At least that's what the club's president, Andrés Sanches, says. In a press conference this Saturday morning, Andrés confirmed the striker's presence, even though he is completely out of shape, in one or two Brazilian championship games. Ronaldo will also be the star of Timão's international friendlies until the end of the season.

At the beginning of the year, Ronaldo signed a contract with the club from Parque São Jorge until the end of December, the date he would hang up his boots, but the early elimination from the Copa Libertadores de América made the phenomenon bring forward his decision. The Corinthians president joked about the idea of seeing the striker play even without a contract, since he is retired: "We lost points, what's the problem? What matters is the party," said the club's leader.

Corinthians has not yet scheduled any games for Ronaldo's farewell, but the striker already has his last match in the green and yellow jersey set. It will be on Tuesday, June 7th, against Romania at Pacaembu Stadium. For this game, the player even promised to train at Corinthians' training center before the match, but so far he hasn't shown up. "He's of legal age, he knows what he's doing," commented Andrés. On Thursday, coach Mano Menezes said that Ronaldo will start this match on the bench.
