Ronaldinho's time at Atlético has come to an end. This Tuesday, the midfielder's brother and agent, Roberto Assis, is expected to meet with the club's board to terminate the contract. This information comes from Itatiaia reporter Roberto Abras.

Atlético's board, for its part, has not yet made a decision regarding the player's departure due to the costs of terminating the contract. Therefore, the decision to break R10's contract with Galo, which ends in December, will likely come from Assis.

Coach Levir Culpi bears some responsibility for the decision to let Ronaldinho leave, as the number 10 had been losing playing time under the coach and didn't have good prospects of being a starter until the end of his contract.

In just over two years at Atlético, Ronaldinho played 88 games and scored 28 goals. He won the Campeonato Mineiro and Copa Libertadores titles last season, as well as the Recopa Sudamericana this year, when he played his last game for the club, in a 4-3 victory over Lanús in extra time.
