Rogério Correia questions new PSDB coup in Minas Gerais.
"And now? What's left for the PSDB (Brazilian Social Democracy Party)? Of course, the same old thing: to attack democracy, the sovereign choice of the people. Federal deputy Domingos Sávio, a habitual offender in dirty tricks, says he will go to court to prevent Dilma from running for Senate," points out deputy Rogério Correia, from the PT (Workers' Party) of Minas Gerais.
By Rogério Correia, on his Facebook page – The initial idea of the PSDB (Brazilian Social Democracy Party) was to promote Aécio's comeback with an easy victory in the Senate. It backfired: Aécio got involved in so many scandals that he's become discredited, even though he's affiliated with the PSDB, a party friendly to the media and the judiciary. After Dilma confirmed she would be the PT's (Workers' Party) candidate in Minas Gerais, things got worse, as all the polls show her leading the race by a wide margin.
And now? What's left for the PSDB (Brazilian Social Democracy Party)? Of course, the same old story: to attack democracy, the sovereign choice of the people. Federal deputy Domingos Sávio, a habitual offender in dirty tricks, says he will go to court to prevent Dilma from running for Senate.
Domingos is a close friend of Aécio's uncle and the lawyer who bought sentences to release drug traffickers. He voted against the people in everything in the Federal Chamber: he was in favor of the coup against Dilma, twice against opening impeachment proceedings against Temer, in favor of the labor "reform," and the freezing of funds for health and education. And he promised to also vote in favor of the reform that would kill workers' retirement benefits.
Virulence is his "quality." He is unlikely to be re-elected, and he becomes even more truculent when trying to flatter someone, dreaming of becoming Aécio's alternate.
