Bahia 247 - A hit with residents and visitors, the Ferris wheel installed at Farol da Barra will remain in place for another 15 days, according to the Municipal Secretariat for Development, Tourism and Culture (Sedes). Available to the public since the 22nd, when the new waterfront of the neighborhood was inaugurated, the attraction has already collected 3.250 kg of non-perishable food, 600 items including toys and warm clothing, and R$10 in donations.

The attraction has a capacity for 64 people and allows users to have a perspective of the redevelopment work from 20 meters high. Access is granted upon donation of one kilogram of food, clothing, or toys. Those wishing to contribute a sum of money can do so in a donation box provided on-site.

The materials collected from the attraction will be donated to philanthropic institutions in the capital through the Corrente do Bem Group. This organization has been working for two and a half years to help needy institutions in the city and has the support of 130 collaborators.
