The minister revealed his ineligibility by stating that upon consulting the process, he verified that, among other facts, the candidate's ineligibility is being discussed based on the judgment of two processes (RCED nº 698 and RO nº 602-83), in which the minister's brother, Fernando Neves, acted as lawyer.

In a concise statement, the minister revealed his bias by stating that upon reviewing the case file, he found that, among other things, the candidate's ineligibility was being discussed based on the judgment of two cases (RCED No. 698 and RO No. 602-83), in which the minister's brother, Fernando Neves, acted as his lawyer.
"Therefore, even though this is not a case of disqualification, since there is no specific legal representation in this matter, I declare my bias," the minister wrote. With this, the case will be reassigned to another judge.
