The rapporteur for the complaint against Temer received R$ 8 million in amendments.

Federal deputy Bonifácio de Andrada (PSDB-MG), announced as the rapporteur for the complaint against Michel Temer in the Chamber of Deputies, received R$ 8 million in mandatory amendments in June and July of this year. This period coincides with the dates of the first complaint against Temer's proceedings in the Chamber. It was also the time of the highest authorization for the commitment of amendments for parliamentarians; in social media posts, Andrada has stated that criticisms of Temer were "disrespectful and without real agreement with the facts, aiming to harm the image of the President of the Republic."

As the rapporteur for the case, which also includes ministers Eliseu Padilha (Chief of Staff) and Moreira Franco (Secretary-General of the Presidency), he will be responsible for drafting a report either for or against the motion filed by former Attorney General Rodrigo Janot. The presentation of the document will take place after speeches by members of the commission and the lawyers for the accused.

In social media posts and on his blog, Andrada has stated that JBS's plea bargain with the Public Prosecutor's Office has brought "legal uncertainty to the country." The plea bargain agreement with the company's executives is precisely the main point of the accusation against Temer for obstruction of justice.

In another statement two days after the rejection of the first accusation in plenary session, Andrada stated that criticisms of Temer were "disrespectful and without real agreement with the facts, aiming to harm the image of the President of the Republic."
