Bahia 247 - Those who received the letter from the Ministry of Social Development (MDS) and have not yet re-registered for the Bolsa Família program in Salvador should pay attention to the deadline, which ends this Friday (13).

According to the Secretariat for Social Promotion and Combating Poverty (Semps), 14 families still need to complete the procedure. If they miss the deadline, their benefit may be blocked and they will not receive payment in January.

Those who miss this first deadline will still have until February 14th to re-register and thus avoid having their benefit canceled by the MDS (Ministry of Social Development). During this period, the benefit is blocked, but not canceled.

Since last week, Semps has hired 50 more professionals to speed up service to beneficiaries. The procedure can be done at the Social Information and Assistance Centers (CIAs) in Comércio (Rua Conselheiro Saraiva, nº 43, 2nd floor), NAJ Baixa dos Sapateiros, Avenida Joana Angélica (Previs) and Boca do Rio (Imeja).

It is necessary to present the original and a copy of the following documents: ID, CPF (Brazilian tax identification number), voter registration card, work permit, proof of residence for the holder and dependents over 18 years of age, and ID or birth certificate and vaccination card for children and adolescents.
