The Workers' Party (PT) will hold a meeting to make it clear that there is no rebellion against Jackson.

The regional president of the PT (Workers' Party), Rogério Carvalho, will hold a meeting with all the party's secretaries who serve in the state administration, which is under the interim leadership of Jackson Barreto (PMDB). He wants to put an end to rumors of unease caused by them within the government. Before the meeting, Rogério will have an audience with Jackson to announce the meeting of the PT secretaries. He is also taking precautions against rumors that the meeting is a conspiracy. "This issue of unease in the government between PT aides and the governor has been much worse, and the meeting will be to dispel any kind of disagreement. The administration as a whole is in harmony," says journalist Diógenes Brayner.

Sergipe 247 - Journalist Diógenes Brayner published in this Wednesday's edition (31) of his column in the newspaper Correio de Sergipe and on the Faxaju website that the state president of the PT, federal deputy Rogério Carvalho, will hold a meeting with the State secretaries who are linked to the party to dispel any speculation or rumor that there would be dissatisfaction on their part with the work of the acting governor Jackson Barreto (PMDB).

TO ACCOMMODATE THINGS

The Workers' Party (PT) is beginning to work to avoid damage and anything that could jeopardize its relationship with the PMDB. It seems clear that everything has already taken the desired course. The many conversations about dissatisfaction among PT aides who are part of the government and don't get along well with the acting governor, Jackson Barreto, have lost their momentum.

At the initiative of the president of the PT (Workers' Party), federal deputy Rogério Carvalho, a meeting will be held with all PT members serving in the government, so that they can align their positions and give a clear demonstration of unity. Jackson will be informed before the meeting, so that there is no misinterpretation. The real objective is to maintain peace in an alliance that, until now, has been working well.

Jackson Barreto is well aware of his position as acting Governor and that he could step down upon the return of the incumbent, Governor Marcelo Déda. However, he also cannot hold a mandate that completely limits his actions, because the government would become inert, lose momentum, and remain merely a signatory of protocols, causing the administration to regress.

It is clear that Marcelo Déda will resume the Governorship on the day he considers himself in perfect health to do so. But, faced with a leave of absence exceeding one month, either the acting governor takes action and imposes his own political style, or everyone will witness excessive inertia. What is unacceptable, on the eve of an election year, is to stand by and watch "the band go by playing love songs," as Chico Buarque once said.

Of course, Rogério Carvalho realized this and will hold the meeting to make it clear that there is no rebellion against the Jackson government. The guidance is that they should continue together and integrate a political project that is not just the PT's, but of everyone who participates in the allied base and intends to continue what was defined by the alliance when it was first formed in 2006.

Regarding the political alliances for next year's elections, anyone involved in politics must understand, with absolute conviction, that only fools or those lacking the vision to win have such fixed ideas. Rumors circulate frequently that there's a possibility of an agreement with the DEM party for a coalition in 2014. There's a good working relationship between the state government and the mayor's office, which doesn't go beyond republican gestures. Therefore, to imagine that there are talks for a future alliance is to see horns on a horse's head.

In politics, nothing is impossible. Who would have imagined seeing an alliance between the PT and PSC, even knowing it was a fleeting thing? The PT having a directive from its national leadership prohibiting coalitions with the DEM is prejudiced, because Lula himself sought out Maluf for an alliance in favor of Dilma.

The DEM party also doesn't get along with the PT. That's historical, just like the PSDB – which diluted in Sergipe and joined forces with Marcelo Déda in 2006. But the formation of a coalition between the PMDB and DEM seems like a different story to me. There's no sign that this will happen, but the two parties have been together before. The fact is that the DEM also has political projects that may or may not conflict with the PMDB in the future, even if the leaders of both parties don't address the issue.

If there were logic in politics, one would say that the natural course of action would be a coalition between DEM and PSC&Cia. But who knows what will happen? There is so much road ahead, in addition to the interests of everyone who is part of the ruling and opposition parties and wishes to run for office in the next election.

The logic of any election is not to combine ideologies to lose, but rather to unite opposing viewpoints in order to win...

SECRETARIES

The regional president of the PT (Workers' Party), Rogério Carvalho, will hold a meeting with all the party secretaries who serve as secretaries in the Jackson Barreto (PMDB) administration.

He wants to put an end to rumors of unease caused by them in the Government.

WITH JACKSON

Before holding the meeting, which will take place from today into tomorrow, Rogério will have an audience with Jackson to announce the meeting of the Workers' Party secretaries.

It is a precaution against rumors that the meeting was a conspiracy.

It was worse.

This issue of unease within the government between Workers' Party aides and the governor has been much worse in the past, and the meeting will serve to resolve any disagreements.

The administration as a whole is in harmony.
