PT Ceará will present the "Brazil that the people want" platform on the 20th.
The president of the PT (Workers' Party) in Ceará, Francisco de Assis Diniz, has scheduled the state-level launch of the digital platform "The Brazil the People Want" for November 20th. The launch will take place in Fortaleza, with the presence of the president of the Perseu Abramo Foundation, Márcio Pochmann, responsible for managing the digital tool. This initiative aims to make the platform a space where anyone can express their opinion, submit proposals, or debate proposals submitted by internet users, with the goal of building a participatory project for Brazil.
Ceará 247 - The president of the PT Ceará party, Fco. de Assis Diniz, has scheduled the state-level launch of the digital platform "The Brazil the People Want" for November 20th. This tool, created by the Perseu Abramo Foundation (FPA) in partnership with the party, aims to involve the population in building a project for Brazil. The platform was launched nationally on September 21st and is now being presented in all states.
The launch will take place in Fortaleza, with the presence of the president of the FPA, Márcio Pochmann, and intellectuals linked to the party, who will present the platform and discuss with members and the general public the thematic axes that guide the elaboration of the proposal. Those responsible for organizing the debates in Ceará are the president De Assis Diniz, Joaquim Cartaxo Filho, Antonio Filho (Conin), Luizete Vicente, and Ranyele Neves.
The seven thematic areas are: World order, sovereignty, and national defense; popular participation, freedom, and rights. What kind of democracy do we want?; National integration and services in Brazil. Is it possible to build a fairer country for all?; What does quality of life mean to you?; Who will pay for the increase in infrastructure and public goods in Brazil?; How can we reduce inequality and ensure social inclusion in Brazil?; How can we mobilize natural and technological resources to generate wealth for all?
This initiative aims to make the digital platform a space where anyone can give their opinion, submit proposals, or respond to proposals already submitted by internet users. To participate, those interested can register via Facebook, Twitter, or on the platform itself. (brasilqueopovoquer.org.br) and also follow the open discussions, which will address different topics selected by the Perseu Abramo Foundation. The final document, with the systematization of the proposals, will be presented by the PT to society in 2018.
