Goiás247 - Businesswoman Andressa Mendonça, wife of the racketeer Carlinhos Cachoeira, could be the vote-getter for the small PSL party in Goiás. The party sees Andressa as having enormous political potential and is betting everything on the electoral success of the woman who was considered the muse of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPI).

The "Chess" column in the newspaper O Hoje, written by journalist Rubens Salomão, interviewed Goiânia city councilman Zander Fábio, who is the metropolitan president of the PSL party. Zander is enthusiastic about Andressa's potential candidacy.

"I was with her the other day, but she didn't reveal anything. If it were up to me, she would be our top vote-getter there. In my opinion, she has every chance and a real opportunity. This is based on polls," he said.

This week, Andressa posted an image on her Instagram with the following text: "A woman's place is in politics." In the caption, she wrote: "And why not?"

Andressa's latest controversy occurred last week and sparked a spicy intrigue. In an interview with the G1 portal, the editor of Playboy magazine, Sérgio Xavier Filho, revealed that Cachoeira's wife would pose for the magazine's sensual lingerie shoot.

A day later, Andressa released a statement denying the sensual photoshoot and saying that this was not the direction she wanted for her career. She manages a lingerie store in a shopping mall in Goiânia and married Cachoeira after her husband was released from prison.

Andressa has a history in politics. Her father, Lair Mendonça, was a city councilor in Goiatuba and had run-ins with the law, being convicted of administrative misconduct. Andressa was married to Wilder Morais (DEM), who is a senator for Goiás and was an alternate for former senator Demóstenes Torres.
