247 - The president of the PSDB in São Paulo, deputy Duarte Nogueira, criticized, this Monday (10), the former Minister of Health and PT pre-candidate for the government of São Paulo, Alexandre Padilha, for the fact that the PT member cited the former PSDB governor Mário Covas in his speech.

"He cannot cite former governor Mário Covas because he did not confront, combat, or overcome the problems in the country's health system and left the ministry with one of the worst indicators in history," he stated.

In the morning, in Sertãozinho (SP), Padilha cited Covas precisely to demand leadership from the governor of São Paulo in defense of the industrial sector, specifically for ethanol, a criticism of his PSDB (Brazilian Social Democracy Party) adversaries. "Former governor Mário Covas always said that if you have a problem, you have to face it, fight it, and overcome it," said the former minister.

"Since setting foot on São Paulo soil on Friday the 7th, for four consecutive days, the former minister has not made any proposals for São Paulo, only spoken ill of his adversaries," Nogueira retorted.
