247 - The National Day of Mobilization and Strike, organized by the trade union centers, this Friday (30), should make life difficult for drivers right from the morning.

The Força Sindical union promises to block the entrance to all 32 bus garages in the city between 4 am and 7 am. The São Paulo Drivers and Conductors Union does not support the action and will be present at the terminals to work.

"The idea is to shut down all the garages," promises Paulo Pereira da Silva, also known as Paulinho da Força. "If that doesn't work, we'll shut down most of them," he adds.

According to SPTrans, if it is found that bus departure times are being disregarded, the action will be considered a serious infraction, with a fine that can reach R$ 360 per hour.

According to the São Paulo Metalworkers Union, there will be roadblocks at the Sacomã terminal in the east zone; at the Piqueri bridge with the Pinheiros Marginal Highway in the west zone; on the Radial Leste highway; at Largo da Concórdia in the east zone; on Avenida Jacu-Pêssego in the east zone; on Avenida do Estado, at the corner with Praça Lions in the east zone; and at the Socorro bridge in the south zone. They also promise to close the Raposo Tavares, Anchieta, Bandeirantes, Castello Branco, and Dutra highways.

Around 6 a.m., there will be a demonstration in front of the General Motors factory, located on Avenida General Motors (Taboão, in Mogi das Cruzes). At the same time, there should be a protest at the entrance of the Engesig factory, on Avenida Katsuji Kitaguchi, in Vila São Francisco, also in Mogi das Cruzes.

The protesters will occupy Paulista Avenue, in front of the MASP (São Paulo Museum of Art), around 15 PM. State school teachers will gather at Praça da República (Republic Square) starting at 13 PM and march to Paulista Avenue. Municipal school teachers will gather at 13 PM in front of the city hall, located on Viaduto do Chá (Tea Viaduct) in the city center.

Bank branches in some strategic locations in the city will open an hour later, such as in the central region, on João Dias and Faria Lima avenues, and in Osasco, in Greater São Paulo.
