Prisco says that PT (Workers' Party) propaganda is only allowed on a community basis.

A candidate for state representative, councilman Marco Prisco (PSDB), complains about the fact that, according to him, cars displaying his campaign advertisements are not allowed into the Camaçari Community Security Base; "Only advertisements for PT candidates, Rui Costa, and Dilma are permitted. I feel wronged in relation to my political rights. It's absurd that this happens in a democracy," says a police officer who prefers not to be identified.

Bahia 247 - Candidate for state deputy, Salvador city councilor Marco Prisco (PSDB) complains about the fact that, according to him, cars with his electoral propaganda are not allowed to enter the Camaçari Community Security Base, inaugurated yesterday (16) by Governor Jaques Wagner (PT).

According to the politician's press office, military police officers at the new base denounced "unequal treatment given to military personnel stationed at the unit regarding political rights." According to Prisco, the police officers are prohibited from parking cars with his campaign material in the unit's internal parking lot.

"Only campaign ads for PT candidates Rui Costa and Dilma are allowed. I feel my political rights have been violated. It's absurd that this happens in a democracy," says a police officer who prefers not to be identified.

The situation was reported to the Association of Military Police Officers and their Families of the State of Bahia (Aspra), which promises to activate its team of lawyers "to question the right provided for in the Constitution".

"This is an order from the command, which is absurd. We have already filed a writ of mandamus. This goes against the constitutional right to freedom of movement, or even the right to freedom of expression and political rights," complained the general coordinator of Aspra, Fábio Brito.
