City government releases guide with guidelines for elections.
The City Hall of Salvador has launched a guide "to guide the behavior of public officials during the election period and contribute to the fairness of the democratic process"; "The content serves to guide public officials regarding the legal limits of conduct in the exercise of their functions. Bahia 247 - The City Hall of Salvador has launched a guide "to guide the behavior of public officials during the election period and contribute to the integrity of the democratic process." Based on Municipal Decree No. 25.237, the guide, prepared by the Secretariat of Management (Semge), points out the main recommendations foreseen in the Electoral Law.
"The content, which is informative in nature, serves to guide public officials regarding the legal limits of conduct in the performance of their duties. It is worth remembering that the guide does not exhaust and does not replace compliance with current legislation," explained the Secretary of Management, Alexandre Pauperio (pictured).
